Society Industry Consultation

The Royal Agricultural Society of England launched its industry consultation to help fine tune the Society's future work programme.

As part of this consultation the Society asked everyone involved in agriculture to complete a short online questionnaire, which has now closed.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the survey. The results of which are now being collated and will provide a valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the industry today.

We hope to share some of the findings from the online survey at the Royal Show and will also post them on this page of the website.

The consultation is a wide reaching exercise and has been structured to help the management and trustees of the charity fully understand what farmers and their suppliers, the food chain and rural entrepreneurs need to develop their businesses in the light of the opportunities they face. The aim is to identify what communications vehicles they require to help them progress in what the society sees as an evolutionary period for farmers, growers and land owners and those that trade with them.
