The day is aimed at farmers who would like to learn more about soil health, management techniques and research into practical soil science. The RAU team will also be discussing their composting dairy farm waste research, which is trialling composting methods to improve the nutrients available to plants, improve soils and reduce runoff. The event includes lunch and a farm walk around Debbie's arable and dairy farm.
This is an Esmee Fairbairn funded event for farmers. Places are limited to 25 attendees.

The Royal Agricultural University (RAU) research team will be discussing the Composting Dairy Farm Waste research project, led by Gloucestershire dairy farmer Debbie Wilkins in collaboration with the Royal Agricultural University. It has been funded by Innovate UK who aim to support farmers to innovate and trial new ideas in practical settings.
Climate Farm Demo is an EU funded project, IFA is working in partnership with 1500 farmers across Europe, carrying out carbon audits and adaptation and mitigation plans to help build awareness of the impact of climate change.
