Launching our autumn theme: Celebrating excellence

This season in the membership RASE will be celebrating excellence in agriculture.

Following the announcement of the winners of the 2024 RASE Awards later this month, we will be taking a look at the outstanding achievements of each of the award recipients. There will be farm case studies and interviews, providing the chance to gain insight into how innovative approaches have been implemented and the outcomes achieved.

Innovation for Agriculture, our sister charity, will also be sharing case studies relating to the winners and runners up of the 2024 Soil Farmer of the Year competition. This competition celebrates farmers and growers who are engaged with, and passionate about managing their soils in a way which supports productive agriculture, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and builds soil health, organic matter and carbon. Each of the competition winners will also be hosting farm walks, the first of which took place on Wednesday 4^th September, and the final one taking place on Wednesday 30^th October.

Throughout September, October and November, RASE members can expect a range of farm case studies spanning across different enterprises, systems and all over the country. We are also relaunching the Farm of the Future webinar series, which will cover the following topics:

•             Comparing methane inhibitor options

•             Diversification into insect farming

•             Making money from sheep using data, genetics and wool
